Mika Ninagawa: Earthly Flowers, Heavenly Colors
Mika Ninagawa:
Earthly Flowers, Heavenly Colors
|
A youthful perspective that captures the eccentric lifestyles of modern people, Mika Ninagawa’s style is to simply ‘take photographs of things I like’. She continues to take a vast amount of photographs that never fails to leave a deep impression on her audience. Since Mika Ninagawa’s debut in 1995, she has gained tremendous popularity across a wide variety of expressive forms such as fashion, film and advertising. She is widely active as an artist who evokes a strong reaction on the all generation. Art critic Midori Matsui has once described her artistic world as ‘earthly flowers, heavenly colors.’ We really hope you can experience and be bedazzled in the ‘Ninagawa World’ through the magnificent and vivid colors in this exhibition.
